Mazda Motor Corporation's production and sales results for May 2011 are summarized below.

1. Domestic Production

Mazda's total domestic production volume in May 2011 decreased 11.8% compared to May 2010 due to the impact from the Great East Japan Earthquake. Mazda resumed full-scale stable production from June.

Mazda5 (Premacy):	8,234 units	(up 33.1% year-on-year)

2. Overseas Production

Mazda's overseas production volume in May 2011 decreased 23.4% compared to May 2010 due to the impact from the Great East Japan Earthquake. Mazda resumed full-scale stable production from June.

Mazda's total domestic sales volume in May 2011 decreased 30.7% compared to May 2010, due to reduced sales of both passenger and commercial vehicles.
Mazda's registered vehicle market share was 6.0% (up 0.1 points year-on-year), with a 3.8% share of the micro-mini segment (up 0.7 points year-on-year) and a 5.1% total market share (up 0.2 points year-on-year).
